Mining opponents are rallying for the land and the water, not for any one person, though her arrest may have finally awoken a few more people who thought that lawyers could stop this juggernaut. This is a cause many of us have tracked and spoken on, protested against for over seven years.
It is about every single person that can possibly come forward and eloquently speak about the land and water, about the mystique of the UP, such as ‘where does the flavor of these blueberries stem from???’ hint-it may be the situational magnetics and total biometric mess of the land and water, flowing together. In this case, disturbing the force and removing the rocks via mining, might just have a cumulative and negative effect.
As the protest moves forward, perhaps many many more people will get arrested, due to their convictions to protect the land.
